One might say I am obsessed with learning.
(Okay, I am “the one” saying it – I’m obsessed with learning).
Being a chronic busy-body has me reaching for audio these days to get my daily dose of that sweet sweet knowledge – and podcasts are usually my weapon of choice.
Side note: I’m SUPER excited – I’m starting my very own podcast, yay! Live Your Art Life now has a podcast!
Ahem – back to the post.
I’ve got a roster of 10-15 podcasts that I flirt with, but there are a handful at the very top of that list that I eagerly await their new episodes.
Now, my favorite podcasts revolve around business.
For me this benefits both sides of my passion – art and the online marketing side of things. But what’s more, is that the podcasts I’ve fallen in love with have taught me so much more than simple marketing techniques.
They’ve taught me about the mind, and how to find success WHILE FINDING HAPPINESS.
So buckle up, these are the top 3 podcasts I’m obsessing about right now!
1. Mind your Business by James Wedmore
Oh James.
It took me a bit of time to truly get into his message – the woo-factor is pretty high but as my life continues to change I find myself aligning so much with his core message and intention.
His podcast is above pairing business with mindfulness, and what a magical combination it is.
So many entrepreneurs (and artists!) have the mentality of “I’ll be happy when I’m successful. Once I’m where I want to be, I’ll make the space to find peace inside of myself”.
I wish I had discovered this sooner. He breaks down this damaging mentality and reverses it, teaching to find inner peace and love along the way, and building your business with it.
The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher
I’m part of Team Jenna Kutcher, always.
This gal is a powerhouse of empowerment, and a constant wealth of information (and inspiration!).
Her voice calms me, while still pumps me up and has me revving up my engine to go go go
Plus, the world can use more of her body-positive energy!
Do It For the Process with Emily Jeffords
While I subscribe to a few art-related podcasts, Do It For the Process by Emily Jeffords is the only one that I listen to religiously.
She’s…something special.
While her art style is on the opposite end of the spectrum from what I create, I have fallen head over damn heels in love with her as an artist.
Her focus is on the process, but in the most beautiful way – everyone can learn something from her. Taking a moment to slow down, get in tune with your inner energy and fire, and listening to its heartbeat.
